An insurance claim on aluminum siding approved through TomKat Restoration. The homeowner filed a claim but their insurance company only paid for the roof. They called us for an estimate on James Hardie Siding and stone and they didn't realize their insurance adjuster didn't even look at the siding the first time around. TomKat reopened the claim and got all four siding of siding, the aluminum siding on their garage, as well as gutters and downspouts approved. Insurance claims covered the majority of the project but due to the high end material they selected to replace the aluminum they had to pay a little more out of pocket. Siding was damaged by hail and so were the window wraps and some of the downspouts as well as the roof vents. Homeowner was upgraded to ridge vents and more soffit vents were opened to meet the IRC Code. Homeowner had bathroom vents venting inside the attic causing moisture buildup and wood decking to rot.
